I have shared my experience through a variety of media, and have considerable experience in the following areas:

  • Infertility - our journey took 7 years and including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) with multiple embryo transfers of preimplantation genetic sequenced (PGS) embryos

  • Miscarriage - we suffered a miscarriage at 9 weeks in 2015

  • Fetal anomaly diagnosis - Grace was diagnosed with bilateral Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney disease, a fatal fetal anomaly, at 21 weeks of pregnancy

  • Later abortion - we had an abortion at 22 weeks of pregnancy after learning about Grace’s diagnosis

  • Abortion legislative impacts on later abortion patients - Missouri’s ill-conceived abortion laws made our already difficult personal situation vastly harder

  • Testifying against abortion legislation/writing testimony to be submitted

  • Perspective and advice for reproductive health medical personnel to de-stigmatize abortion patient care

  • Ways to get involved in the fight for reproductive justice including:

    • Writing Letters to the Editor

    • Writing Op Eds

    • Supporting the work of other reproductive justice organizations including abortion funds
